Thai jungle seen as breeding ground for Indochinese tigers | Bangkok Post: news


In this 2016 photo, two tiger cubs investigate a rock along a forest trail as their mother walks past in the jungle in eastern Thailand. The other breeding ground is in the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary in western Thailand. Indochinese tigers are smaller than the better-known Bengal and Siberian tigers. The statement noted the tigers' "remarkable resilience given wildlife poaching and illegal rosewood logging" in the eastern jungle. They can do this now in the eastern forest complex as they've done in the western forest complex."
